Has anyone purchased Unlock 01 for a jailbreak with OS 5.1 on their IPhone 4?

Good luck with it and did it work ok?

NEVER pay for a jailbreak, atm there is only a jailbreak on 5.1 for non A5 devices (ipad 3rd gen and the iphone 4S) but the jailbreak that does exist is a tethered one and is provided for FREE by the developers.

Thx. What is the jailbreak you refer to? Understand the only difference in the tethered vs. non tethered is that for the tethered one needs a computer to boot up the phone, because of it crashing or locking up?

right, you need to re jailbreak when you re-boot the device and thats not really a problem for most because how many times do you even turn off your phone?

but using redsn0w you can perform a tethered jailbreak on ios 5.1, this does NOT include the iphone 4S or the new ipad

of course... usually the mac is the first to get the tool to jailbreak
