How can i tell which version i have?

I don't think it does.

Any safari updates are bundled in with iOS update via iTunes. So depending which firmware version your phone is running depends which version of safari you have. A quick google search should tell you which safari version comes with what firmware...?

So my firmware is 4.3.2, which means my Safari is 4.3.2?

  1. Open your Safari web browser by clicking on the Safari icon in the dock.
  2. Click on Safari in your Safari menu, located at the top of your screen.
  3. A drop-down menu will now appear. Choose the option labeled About Safari.
  4. A dialog box will now appear containing the browser's version number. The first number, located outside of the parenthesis, is the actual version of Safari. The second number, located inside the parenthesis, is the WebKit/Safari Build version.

Safari is updated via iTunes. It lets you know this when you switch on your computer and open iTunes. It'll then tell you updates are available safari being one of them. Some people have the pop up option to tell you updates are available some have it when you open iTunes it then tells you. Just incase replies come back saying iTunes doesn't tell me. Only once you've updated and synced your phone will the newer version of safari be on there.

If you want to know what version you are using. Open iTunes and right click safari.
