Bear with me...
I took a photo on my 4s and went to email it to myself. Instead, I accidentally sent it as an iMessage to my email address. The iMessage then appeared on my iPad 2. So far, it all makes sense.
On my iPad, I deleted the accidental iMessage from myself. The message was not present on my phone, because at that time my phone and ipad imessage accounts were using two different caller id's. Then it popped back up. And it keeps popping back up. Every time I delete the iMessage, it reappears.
My other iMessage conversations can be cleared or deleted. But this single item in only this conversation just keeps returning from the dead.
Any ideas?
