Okay, so video bloggers are notorious for subjecting smartphones to the most ridiculous torture tests imaginable. We've seen smartphones dropped, run-over, bent, drowned, smashed, burned, cooked, boiled, shot and even launched into space! Those are just the ones I could come up with off the top of my head.
This latest one may not be the most bizarre thing to ever happen to a smartphone in a torture test video, but we give them a B+ for creativity. This time we have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in a grudge match with the Apple iPhone 6S Plus. The video blogger wanted to see which one can survive being frozen in Coca-Cola and then reheated with hot water.
The videographer seems overly amazed at the fact that the frozen smartphone popsicles are so hard, which makes us wonder what he expected in the first place. He sounds like someone who has never seen ice melt before in his life...
Despite his exaggerations, (or perhaps because of them) it's fairly entertaining, although relatively useless... unless of course you accidentally freeze your smartphone in Coke...
