Yesterday was a big day for Samsung with the launch of the Galaxy Note7 in New York. And despite this being a big event for the company, MacRumors reports that Samsung just couldn’t resist the chance to poke fun at its rival’s rumoured decision to remove the 3.5 mm headphone jack from the forthcoming iPhone 7.
Even when onstage talking about the new Galaxy Note7, Samsung marketing VP Justin Denison’s thoughts still turned to Apple when he joked “Want to know what else it comes with? An audio jack. I’m just saying,” to much laughter from the audience.
Denison also touted two other features of the new phone that the iPhone doesn’t have, namely a 3,500 mAh battery and expandable storage. The Note7 will also feature an iris scanner, something that Apple is said to be working on for next year’s iPhone.
