Samsung Will Be Apple's Main Supplier of DRAM for 2015 iPhone and iPad

It's basically like watching two kids who hate to love each other. Samsung and Apple have been going at it in patent wars for the last couple years, however when it comes to manufacturing components, the latter needs the former.

Recently Samsung landed a deal with Apple, agreeing to build our favorite fruit company's A9 mobile processor for this year's iPhones and iPads. According to a new report from The Korea Times, Samsung will also be Apple's main supplier of DRAM, the same chips which will be used in the upcoming Galaxy S6.

Samsung will be responsible for at least half of the memory chips, with the contract estimated to be worth "millions of dollars".
