Is there anyway i can gey my carrier on sbs menu ? Reason is i use my iphone on a docking thing in my car but when connected to my carrier it always has interference on it so i turn my carrier off, i use sbs settings menu for everything else but have to use the normal settings for carrier any pointers would be good , ta.

You can simply toggle airplane mode in SBS to turn on off your carrier.

yeah airplane mode is good. i think you can get an extra toggle just for the phone so that way wifi can still be used and bluetooth. well if that matters

My SBSettings has a "3G" toggle and a "EDGE" toggle. Even tho the network round here is 3G (when in an Edge network a large E is displayed) switching the edge toggle turns off 3G Internet. Switching the 3G toggle turns off all connection except wifi. I find it useful to switch off internet when out and about to save battery particularly in poor signal areas, where constant "searching..." can drain battery.
