Screen going black?

my screen is going black. When I open up an app it goes black. It doesn't matter what app. No water damage at all. Phone is in a life proofs case.

Is it only when you open an app that the screen goes black? Does the home screen show? Does restarting the iPad make a difference?

I erased my phone. So no problem now

That happens on my iPhone 6S after iOS 9.1 update. While exiting from any app to the main screen the screen stays black in background for a moment. Solution : restore from one of my iTunes safety storage
