Second hand iphone 3gs loading previous owners games/apps

My sister gave me her old iphone 3gs - its been jailbroken etc I have my own apple id and download the apps with it but somehow when i open them they open in her "nick name" for example i installed cityville using my id and when i opened it i was on level 41 and the towns name was my sister! I'm new to all this and would be greatful of any help

You need to go to GAME CENTER and log her off and login with your own apple ID. Game Center keeps the scores for each player that is logged in.

My game centre app shows my id but only has 2 out of the 8 games i have downloaded could that be it? Thanks for your help

Could be that when you got the games, you haven't yet added them to game center, I would suggest you just uninstall those games, reinstall them and login. When you uninstall, it will ask you if you want to "Keep or Remove data from game center", you should choose remove.
