Pocket Gamer writes that according to Anime News Network, Sega has announced that it is currently busy developing a sequel for its popular Vocaloid rhythm game, Miku Flick, featuring Japan’s most famous Vocaloid singer, Hatsune Miku. Miku Flick 2, as it will cunningly be called, will be launching for iOS and other mobile platforms “soon” according to the report. As Pocket Gamer says, this is great news for Vocaloid fans and rhythm game aficionados alike, but that doesn’t stop it feeling like a little too soon to be releasing a sequel, with the first game only being released in western App Stores in April, following on from the early March release in Japan. Pocket Gamer says that fans could well be a little disappointed by this news, having expected, and hoped for, more updates for the current game, including new levels and in-app purchases. Of course an update would be free to those fans that had already invested in the game, whereas a sequel will be much dearer to get hold of, particularly as the first game initially cost $13.99/£9.99 and used up 927MB!
