Settings neeedd to have photos taken with iphone 3gs tranf to my desktop when sync?

Hi, I thought that when I sync my iphone 3gs with my desktop computer, that photos would automatically be transferred to my computer, but this is not happening. Please help, what and where are the settings to make this happen? Thanks much.

You sync photo with iTunes to/from the My Pictures.

Tho I hate iTunes for syncing. Especially pictures alway messes them up some how.

I use Dropbox.

Download the Dropbox folder for free on your PC...then the Dropbox app on your device from the AppStore.

Make a free account.

Anything dropped into that Dropbox folder will show up in the Dropbox app in the phone.

Anything that is uploaded to the Dropbox app from the Camera Roll will show up in the Dropbox folder on your PC.

It just works flawlessly always.
