According to a fresh report coming from AppleInsider, it seems that iPod shipping times slip ahead of Apple's anticipated iPod lineup update with new colors.
The Apple-oriented publication pointed out that all iPod Touch units now show a 1 to 3 days of delivery, no matter the storage capacity or what color the model is in. It seems that the iPod nano is mostly in stock, but space gray models are also showing a similar shipping delay to the iPod Touch. As for Product Red models, these aren't being delivered for 7 to 10 days. The single product from the iPod lineup that is being delivered immediately is the Shuffle.
Apple is believed to add new hot pink, gold, and deep blue colors to its iPod lineup. The company could also upgrade the iPod touch hardware with a 64-bit processor, among other new features.
