Silly question

If I update my jailbroken and unlocked iPhone 3GS which is running on 4.1 will it send me to recovery mode after update?.

My phones from out of uk so if it dose it won't let me out of recovery mode as I have a uk carrier and the phones from USA I think???

there are no "silly questions" but did you use gevey sim or ultrasn0w or another method to unlock the iphone for use in the uk?

Hi unleashed I'm not to sure it was already Jb when I bought it pal. Think it might of been ultrasnow tho mate

if you create a custom firmware with either pwnage tool or sn0wbreeze depending on if you use win or mac you can then preserve the baseband an dupgrade to ios 5.0.1 and jailbreak and unlock
