There is a jailbreak app that will do what you want. It's called SMS stats 2. If you plan on jail breaking do it now. New ios comes out very soon and will probably patch the current jailbreak.

Now I'm jail broken. But I think my battery is draining fast after jb. Can that be true

Yeah if you are freshly jailbroken I don't see why your battery should be draining. Try a hard reset of your phone and let it boot back up and see if you still have the problem

Press and hold the home button and power button at the same time. Don't let go until the phone starts to reboot
