After i chose a contact to text, if i chose another one, the "to" field still has the previous contact in it. I have tried third party apps and the native one and all do the same. Is this normal or just my phone?
you mean like sending a sms to multiple people? if yes then yeah it still would have the first person in it then it will just keeping adding names in the TO field till your done

still not 100% clear if your send a message then leave the app and come back in your should see that sent message sitting there in your inbox becasue its a threaded sms which is more like a running conversation of sms's back and forth to that person, but if your hit the new message icon then the TO field should be blank if it has the last persons name still there i think thats a bug
