Capcoms smash hit freemium game Smurfs Village has just had a festive winter update, which sees Smurfs Village being hit by a snowstorm, turning the village into a winter playground. Two new Smurf villagers have also been added Lazy Smurf and Baby Smurf. Aside from the addition of the snow and the new characters, Capcom has gone some way to addressing the complaints that children are too easily able to spend real-world money in the game buying Smurfberries to build up their farm. According to Pocket Gamer, a new warning box will appear when the game starts to alert parents.
Game Center support has also been introduced, so that you can add friends and visit their villages, and you can also now share photos of your village on Facebook.
Various bugs have also been fixed, including crashes, and accidental withering of crops.
