Fortuna Mobile's SharkWatch! is a very handy social networking app dedicated to keeping track of shark sightings all over the world. Whether you're a surfer, diver, researcher, beachgoer, or just someone who's fascinated with sharks, SharkWatch! will help you keep track of your hobby. SharkWatch! users can share their shark encounters with other users of the app, as well as with Facebook and Twitter friends, browse through sightings posted by community members, learn about documented shark attacks dating back to the 1800s via the regularly updated database, and check out images of sharks and detailed information about individual shark species.

The position-based "nearby" feature enables you to call up a list of sightings in your near vicinity, ordered by distance from your current location. Each sighting includes associated images and first-hand details of the encounter. The app also includes an interactive Regional Map, which takes you directly to a list of species living in your area of interest.
