Snapchat, the massively popular photo/video app that is based around the fact that its images only exist for a few seconds, has today announced that it is taking the next step to make its images a little more permanent, with the introduction of a new Stories mode.
According to Gizmodo, when users post a picture or video to Snapchat Stories, instead of disappearing in a few seconds when you share it with one other person, like a normal Snapchat picture/video, it will remain on a feed for 24 hours, before then disappearing forever, unless you've taken a screenshot, of course! More than one person will be able to view it, and youll be able to see who viewed the picture, or, as Snapchate explains, rather poetically, on the official blog, Your Story never ends and its always changing. The end of your Story today is the beginning of your Story tomorrow. And each Snap in your Story includes a list of everyone who views it.
