Soundboard Question and Apps

Hi

I just jailbroke my Iphone 4 using the absinthe method. I added a couple of soundboard apps from Cydia and am wondering rather than applying the sounds in winterboard, can I just find these sound files and use them as ring tones and alerts?

I have I-File but can't seem to locate them.

Also, since I've just plunged into the world of jailbreaking, does anyone have any good applications they recommend?
