There are thousands of hidden object games out there, both as apps and on websites, so for one to stand out it has to really have something a little special about it, which is why I really like G5 Entertainments Special Enquiry Detail: The Hand that Feeds its a hidden object game, right enough, but with a murder mystery twist. All too often when youre looking for objects in hidden object games, its just random stuff and you get bored quickly, but with this game, finding the objects is part of a wider forensic investigation into a murder. The game starts by having you look for hidden objects that could be evidence at the crime scene, and it really does get gripping very quickly. The mini games add to the drama of the investigation, and it looks gorgeous too. I'm hooked on this one!
The games plot centres around the work of a new crime solving unit, the Special Enquiry Detail, as the player follows detectives Turino and Lamonte on their murder investigation, across 12 intriguing chapters. Here are some of the main features of the game, as outlined by G5:
The game is free to download, with the option to pay $6.99/$4.99 to unlock the full iPad/iPhone game from within the app.
