Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile Announced for iOS

Capcom has announced today that it’s bringing Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile to iOS this summer. The game will be based on the home console release, but will have completely redesigned controls and UI to suit mobile devices. The iOS version of the game will also have brand new modes and a new take on the tag team mechanic. The balanced character roster will include the likes of Ryu and Chun-Li from the Street Fighter series, and Kazuya and Nina from the Tekken series. Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile will be compatible with iOS 5 or higher, and will be playable on iPhone 4 and 4S, iPod touch 4th gen or later, iPad 2 and the new iPad. Although Capcom doesn’t mention the original iPad in its press release, it should work with that too, as iOS 5 is still compatible will the original iPad of course. Looking very nice indeed, Capcom!
