A pop-up notification suggested I download this app when I first attempted to view something in this forum with my Iphone (4). I’ve since looked it up. It states that it makes viewing and posting in forums easier when doing so with a Smartphone.

Does anyone have any firsthand experience with this app? If someone does have some experience with this application, could you tell me more about it (other than what I previously mentioned) and whether or not you would recommend it or not?

its an ok app lots of people use it here and you just add forums from the list and its supposed to make posting easier and on the iphone i found it did but to be honest im happy just using safari or atomic web...

it saves having to pinch zoom the screen all the time and it is less hassle but i have not used it in ages i just stick to using safari because i get emails telling me about replies so i find it easier to tap and reply

You see my posts through the forum? 90% of them was wrote, edited, using tapatalk, including those with pictures etc. Ah before I forget, I'm writing this using tapatalk as well. It's a good app but with some infirm bugs which need to be fix, other than that, it's easy to use and happen to be extremely convenient for me to be in touch with the forum. I can then reply to post even on the go.

Save your money in my opinion. The app constantly has connection problems with the forums. You can only use forums that tapatalk peeps have approved. It won't work for any forums they haven't. Their "support" has never responded to several problems I've reported. And no, you can't get a refund for the app.

I agree that the support team are useless.
The app is good but needs a few annoying bugs sorting.
I so don't buy it just because the support staff are ignorant!!

I've had pretty good luck with it. Nothing to complain about - it comes in handy sometimes, like when I'm sitting somewhere waiting on the wife. I use it on 3 forums, one of which I moderate and can even use basic moderator functions through it. It was worth $2.99 as far as I'm concerned.

I do use email notification for forums, but I typically will go to the actual post to comment. When doing this, I have to do a lot of zooming in or out depending on the forum of interest. I know that at least one other forum that I am a member of is on the list of Tapatalk enabled forums, but the one forum I’m most active in is turning a blind eye to it and won’t discuss it with me.

I see the pros you bring up and I like them. I don’t always have the time to do all my posting from my desktop.

From what I’ve come to know so far, a good application is backed by a good support team. It’s disheartening to say the least, that this app lacks this crucial element.
