Text Message Send Failure Prompt

I entered a guys number into my phone without the area code on Saturday. So I got an error message when I sent a text.
So, I added the area code, resent the text...no error message.

However, I received another error message last night.

I received a text from him today...I replied...error message again!!

I looked at my data activity online & it lists the texts TWICE as SENT.

But none of them say "delivered" on my phone.

Is he getting my texts or not?! I have no idea & don't want to text him again & look like a stalker.

"I haven't heard back from you yet, I'm getting error messages...did you get texts?"
"Yes, I got them. No, I just haven't replied yet"
A scenario I want to avoid!!!!

This sucks!!!!

Does your friend have a different provider? It may be on their end.

I have no idea. I guess I can try and find out.

Do all text messages say "delivered" if they make it to the intended recipient? These texts don't say delivered
