Text message vibration

So I recently purchased the iPhone 4s, and ultimately I am satisfied except for my vibration function. My iPhone vibration function works when I receive emails, and Facebook messages, but never vibrates when I get a text message. I go to setting and turn it on, and have my sister message me, but it still doesn't vibrate? Any help?

Well the vibration seems to be different in iOS 5 so you may not be used to it
But also check if you are using custom vibrations under the accessibility options

My iOS 5 doesn't vibrate on no tone selected

Mines vibrates when i receive a text. I tested jus to see, i turned mines of cuz i dont like it. Are you sure the vibrate switch rite above all ur tones is turned on ??

You will have to turn it off then on for it to accept, why i have no clue.
