How do you text to multiple numbers if they are not in your contacts?

If they are not in your contacts wouldn't you have to put in each number manually ?

I tried that but I can't seem to figure out how to separate multiple numbers. It just makes it one big string of numbers.

I have tried both and when I click send it make them one long number and I get a send failure.

Ok here's what you do.
Type in 1st number. Then click the + button to the right hand side. This will bring up contacts. Click cancel then type in 2nd number and so on. By doing this separates each number with a comma.
Puts each number in a green bubble.

See photograph of what I did with 11 digits as made up numbers.

Thanks, that got it. I knew it would be a simple fix that I was overlooking. Thanks again!

No problem. It's a first for me too. Maybe other people will benefit from this thread also. Apple iPhones have so many secretive things to work out which makes the phone always fun to play with.
