Did this thing actually go into production? I read about it quite a while ago but it didn't make any sense. If you are going to carry something that big around buy an SLR camera. The camera in my 4s is awesome but it still can't take pics like my Nikon SLR.

I think the point is that it gives you the SLR optics for $199, not whether or not it is bulky. It still doesn't make much sense, it improves the optics but it doesn't physically increase the sensor size. I'm pretty sure an SLR sensor is considerably larger than the iPhone 4's.

Edit: Nevermind, didn't notice that it was the mount only, and didn't include a lens.
