The Godfather Makes Your iPhone an Offer it Can’t Refuse

Oceanside Interactive launched The Godfather: Empire today, a free-to-download game based on Paramount Pictures’ iconic movie franchise, The Godfather. The officially licensed game lets the player take on the role of a Corleone family member, who has the dirty job of recruiting new associates, bringing down rival organisations, and building the most powerful organisation in 1940s New York. Along the way, you must complete multiple tasks and “favors” (costing $2.99 for 290 favors as an in-app purchase) to try to persuade as many as possible of the over 200 associates to join you. The game will have weekly content updates, and you can also recruit your real-life friends to join you. And for a limited time, new players will get 75 free favors.
