A fresh report coming from Chinese publication MIC Gadget is suggesting that retail versions of the next-generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will not come in 16 GB variants. The publication claims that the new iPhone will start at 32 GB, with 64 GB and 128 GB being available as the higher tier options.
The website is citing sources within Foxconn that have supposedly seen product packaging. Thus, as it turns out, stickers for a 16 GB iPhone don't exist, at least not at the moment. The 16 GB storage option was first introduced in 2008 for the original iPhone, so who knows, maybe Apple is ready to offer its customers even more storage with its entry-level iPhone model.
