When tapping the new GIF button, Twitter will show a plethora of popular and trending GIFs that folks can use in tweets. The new feature also has a list of different animated emotions for setting your current mood on the social network.
Most users reporting seeing the feature have also noticed that it magically disappeared after a few hours. While the GIF button was only spotted on Android, if Twitter is planning a massive roll out, there's no reason iOS would not receive the feature as well.
