thinking of getting the iphone 4

I'm on iphone since 6months now, and i can tell you that there is no such troubles you'vve stated there specially with the latest iOS update.

Waiting for iPhone 5 would be a great idea. Save your money and buy iPhone 5 after it will be released.

I've had mine for just over a week. I came from a Blackberry 9800. I think this phone has much better call and signal quality, IMO. I am surprised by that actually I heard the same sort of things and was very worried about that. I do have a case on the phone though and that is supposed to help the antenna issue.

Great phone but I'm on my third after about 9 months. I would still advise you to get it as Apple have replaced them both for free due to Apple Care.
