Well for those of us who are still stuck in the 90s might just be in luck. What started out as an April Fools' joke by Hyperkin product developer Chris Gallizzi, may have flourished into an actual product. Gallizzi posted a joke product photo of an iPhone 6 Plus attachment, which is basically an original Game Boy sawed in half.
The iPhone 6 Plus slides into the casing, using the bottom half of the screen for the physical buttons to make contact, and the top half for displaying games on the screen. On the rear of the casing is a slot for classic Game Boy cartridges.
The image gained a load of hype around the web and Hyperkin announced that it plans to bring the product to the market. Now, Nintendo's legal team letting this slip by seems like a long-shot. However if this does come to market, I'll be searching through boxes for my old games. All we can do is cross our fingers.
