Recent reports and rumors tell us that the Apple Watch is expected to launch sometime in March or early April. Though the Watch has yet to see a release date or word from Apple, apart from the "early 2015" date given to us at the event, one supermarket chain is already working on triggering its advertisements on users wrists.

AdWeek is first to report that Marsh Supermarkets, a retail food chain headquartered in Indianapolis, IN has already installed a myriad of iBeacons in all 75 of its stores. The iBeacons will be used to beam coupons, offers and even recipe suggestions to Apple Watch wearers in the stores.

“If you look at that situation when you’re running through a store, how much more convenient is it to have a hands-free option to see what you’re making for dinner or understand what the deals are when you’re in-store?" says Todd Dipaola, CEO of inMarket.

Since the Apple Watch was announced, an abundance of advertising firms have been trying to think of new ways to bombard the device with ads and other types of unwanted spam. We hope that Apple figures out a way to regulate unwanted advertisements on the device, or else the smartwatch could become a vibrating disaster.
