Gizmodo features a cool new app today called TiltPad, which can be used to turn your iPhone/iPod touch or iPad into an OS X-compatible motion-sensitive game controller for your Mac gaming needs. You have to download both the iOS app for your phone, which costs just $1.99/£1.19, and the (free) TiltPad server utility via your Mac, then when both are installed, connect your iPhone and computer to the same Wi-Fi network, and away you go! The app enables you to customise the “buttons” on your iPhone to your liking, and it also enables you to hold your iPhone vertically and use it as a mouse if you so choose. TiltPad is OS X-compatible only at the moment, although the video features games being played on PCs. According to Appnea, the app’s designers comments on their YouTube site, we can expect a PC-compatible version “very soon.”
