Tiny scratch on iphone 3GS near home button.

It depends on the scratch. Like how bad it is. If it is not that bad, then iCleaner can can do a god job of buffing it out. If it is a relatively deeep scratch, then you can dull it down a bit, but will always show. Just dpends on the scratch.

It is only a very light scratch, barely visible. Where can I get icleaner? Thank you.

Can someone tell me how to set it up so when there is a reply to a question I post here, to set it up so I will receive a notificaiton in my email. Also, what are tags? Thanks again.

Whitener toothpaste works, and silver polish or brass polish. Try a Google search too as there are other products that remove scratches. I used brass polish to remove a scratch and it worked fine. Be prepared to spend time on this. If it removes it too quickly it means the abrasive is too coarse and will leave tiny scratch marks. Take your time, don't press too hard and the screen should be almost like new.

Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. The scratch is barely visible and I do not want to make it worse. I did stop at the Apple Store yesterday and asked a representative about it, and he said it cannot be removed. But I really appreciate your taking the time to comment -- if it were a bad scratch, I would take your advice and try to remove, but as I said I do not want to make it worse. Have a great day.
