Tiny Wings 2 Gets July 12 Release Date

9to5 Mac writes that the long-awaited sequel to one of the most popular iOS games in the past year, Tiny Wings, is on schedule to land gracefully in the App Store on July 12. In order to remind us all just what a great game it is, and no doubt whet our appetite for Tiny Wings 2, developer Andreas Illiger has released this intriguing video. They call it a “Teaser” and it most certainly is! We don’t get any gameplay footage yet, but we do get that all-important iOS release date at the end. If it’s anything like as good as the first installment, indie developer Illiger will have another smash hit on his hands, as the first game was voted iPhone game of the year for 2011, and sold over 5.6 million copies. So far, the game is iOS-exclusive. If you haven’t played the first game yet, click the link below to check it out for $0.99.
