tmobile through straight talk or tmobile prepaid?

which should i get on my iphone 3gs? I had att but the service is a nightmare in my area. Does the straighttalk tmobile have the exact same coverage as tmobile prepaid? I know the plans are different but signal/coverage wise which is better or are they both the same?
