Gameloft’s real-time tactical FPS Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard will be released to the App Store next Friday, March 17, according to Pocket Gamer. It’s actually a bit of a blast from the past, a little nostalgic trip back in time for those of us who remember the first Rainbow Six game, as it is a reworking of that original game, played out across 11 worldwide missions. Check out the very nice trailer above, which features the multiplayer mode, which according to Pocket Game is the “big focus” of the game. Both cooperative and competitive multiplayer game modes are included. The co-op mode is for up to three players, either online or locally, giving the game the distinction of being the first iOS shooter to have three-way co-op. There’s also a 10-player versus mode.

I know trailers are meant to look good, but this one really does look spectacular!
