Transfering Photos

I have a 3gs w/ 6.01 ios. I can make a new folder in photos but does anyone know how to put photos in the new folder. As of now all my photos I take go in 1 folder. You would think you could choose a folder as you took a picture. Thanks for any help on this.

Wow,, I amazed,, I thought for sure someone would know how to put photos in a folder on here. I guess I picked the one question that could,nt be answered.

You can't choose a folder when taking a photo.
When you are in the Camera Roll choose edit in top right corner. Now you can choose pics to put into your new folder by tapping them. The choices at the bottom of the screen become active. Be aware that you can not shift them from camera roll. What this does is put a shortcut to the pic in the new folder. This way much space is saved and it looks like you have them in another folder. Very nice I thought

Forgot to say that this only works in the thumbnail view. Don't select the pic before you tap edit
