Twitter for iphone problem

I have the twitter for iphone app and the notifications keep shutting off. I dont want to receive notifications from all the people I follow so I go to the person's profile that I want to receive notifications from and turn on notifications but they keep shutting off. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm having the same problem man, my Twitter is not making notifications at all. Even if I go to a certain person and turn on notifications for them.

I guess it's only me and you with the same problem cause no one seems to have an answer
