9to5 Mac writes that thanks to the appearance of the redesigned App Store in the iOS 6 beta, they have been able to spot that Twitter for iPhone is about to get a major update. 9to5 Mac has picked up on leaked release notes in the update history section in the App Store in the new beta, which reveal that Twitter for iPhone 4.3 is on the way, and that it brings with it some interesting new features that focus on interactivity, improvement to notifications, searching, performance and more. For example, among the improvements outlined in detail in the Twitter app release notes is a more interactive Tweet view, offering content previews, videos, and pictures, that will all appear within tweets that contain links to partner websites. As far as push notifications, the update will enable you to choose to get push notifications when the people that you select tweet. And finally, to outline just one more of many new features in the forthcoming update, tweets regarding “selected events” will be highlighted, and Twitter will curate relevant images and tweets associated with the event.
