Twitter Issue

Hello all, when I am in the Twitter app, I receive no notifications. Now, I am new to iPhone, being the 5 my first one. Could someone please let me know if they have the same issue, or if you know anything I could try to fix this. For example when I am looking at my timeline on Twitter, I do not get any notifications for tweets, mentions, or direct messages. I have to manually check if I am in the Twitter app. Any help is great appreciated, thank you.

Same happened to me. I turned the phone off and back on. After that it worked.

Happens to me often, 3x now. I have to uninstall then reinstall, hopefully an update is out soon.

Mine is good now but I did reset and restore via iCloud.

Had the same issue. Deleting and re-installing the app sorted it.

Well I went to settings, general, reset, erase all content & settings. After that when you set up new iPhone on the phone through wireless instead of iTunes pick restore from iCloud back up. And there you go.
