UberTwitter Comes to iPhone

Ubergizmo reports today that UberTwitter (no relation!) has launched in the app store. Already a very popular Twitter app with BlackBerry users, I’m sure a lot of Twitter addicts will be very glad to see it now available for iPhone. According to UberTwitter, they’re the #1 Twitter client in the world, which is a big claim to make, but I’m sure they wouldn’t be saying it if it wasn’t true! So just what is so special about UberTwitter and why is it so popular with tweeters worldwide? It could be that in addition to the usual Twitter client basics, such as composing and sending tweets, direct messaging and embedded link shortening, UberTwitter for iPhone also offers something called UberView, which enables you to read tweets faster and easier. Simply tap the tweet in portrait or landscape mode to view and use content from any embedded link, such as a webpage or a video, without having to exit the app or open a new page within the app.
