Although everything worked well for a long time, I am no longer able to recharge my iPhone 5 from European wall current (250v). I was able to charge initially via an iPhone USB plug adapter but the iPhone has stopped reacting, no beep, no load, no nothing... anyone familiar with this or something similar? I have used different plug adapters, same problem.

All the best,
Ralph

If it charges via USB to computer and not directly through an outlet, it may be the outlet's issue. If possible, run a voltmeter test on the outlet and see if it works properly.

Hi and thanks, I have of course done that, the problem exists regardless of what outlet in my home I use.

Check and make sure that there isn't any lint buildup in the lightning connector.
