My wife had so many pics and videos on her iPhone that all of her available 14GB was taken. She has been unable to take any pics or videos, and sometimes the phone just freezes. When connected to our pc, it showed 12GB was being used by pics and videos. I downloaded all this media to pc, and deleted all of it from the phone. However, the storage space was not regained after deletion. It still shows 12GB being used by pics, and video, but its all deleted. How can I regain this space without resetting the phone and losing everything else? Thanks in advance.

in itunes try de-electing to sync the photo's and other files that take up space off, also in the settings on ios 5 you can see what apps take up how much space and delete them one by one.
