unable to sync iphone 4s with hotmail callendar

Hi

I am having a problem with sync on my hotmail callendar. I have had a 4s for about 6 months and it synced perfectly with hotmail, but I
recently reset the phone and later updated to ios 6 and any updates on my callendar using the phone don't automatically sync with hotmail callendar. I am an apple novice and have just started using an iphone and ipad. Can anyone help?
