I have had my iPhone unlocked by Vodafone this week. I put in a 3 sim card and connected it to iTunes and I got the "Congratulations, your iPhone is now unlocked" message as I expected, however, now whenever I connect the iPhone, iTunes asks me to register it as if it was a new handset.
If I press cancel the sync runs as normal, but the message will always come up every time the iPhone is connected. Do I need to go through the registration process with it, or will this wipe the iPhone and mean I need to run a restore from backup?
