Unlocking iphone x

Hello everyone,

I am really new with iphones. I just bought a iphone x from a pawn shop wich is threw sprint. But i want to add it to our family plan on verizon. I called sprint and they will do nothing for me unless the previous account holders call in.. Can anyone help me please? Or point me in the right direction even if i have to purchase a third party software is fine.. I just need to know the safest route possible. Thank you for your time in advance.

It’s possible that the original owner still owes money on the iPhone which could explain why Sprint won’t unlock it.

Im going to call and check again tomorrow.
The only thing they told me was the original account holder had to call. Is there any third party software trustable to use that you know of?

You would be within your rights to take it back to the pawn shop and get a refund if you can’t use the phone.

I would take it back to the shop you bought it from ASAP. There is not a safe or legal way to go about getting the phone unlocked that I know of. Especially if the carrier has it locked down.
