untethered jailbreak 4.1.1?

Is there such a thing as an untethered jailbreak for iPhone 3GS running 4.1.1? Currently have it jb tethered but would prefer untethered if possible. Currently downloading pwnagetool 4.1 (just 3 short hours to go!) but not sure if it is an untethered jb or not?

I don't remember there being a 4.1.1 firmware? Do you mean 4.1 or 4.2.1? Either way greenpoision will give you an untethered jailbreak...

gaz is correct, there is no such thing as 4.1.1 firmware

Thanks. I've downloaded greenpoison but I just wanted to check- will it cause any problems with my unlock?

Have jailbreaked and all fine. Just need to upgrade to 4.3.5 now!

4.3.5 only has a tethered jailbreak. Im sure the latest untethered firmware is 4.3.3. Unfortunatly you will be unable to get onto that firmware unless you have SHSH blobs saved...

If you rely on a soft unlock, which is not too clear from your second last post, be very careful looking at an upgrade. Make sure you understand what you are doing. Its not even clear what ios you have installed...
