Untethered Jailbreak Help Please

Hi All,

First post here so apologies if I have posted in the wrong section.

I have an IPhone 3GS which is jailbroken with blackra1n. Problem is when battery dies I have to continually jailbreak it or when I need to reset my network settings I again have to jailbreak it as the jailbreak is tethered.

I tried last night to jailbreak using greenpois0n. I followed the steps but nothing seems to happen for me.

Can anyone recommend me a good untethered jailbreak? I'm using Windows O/S on my PC.

If your on 4.2.1 you can use the latest version of greenpoisi0n to jailbreak untethered...

I did try greenpois0n but no joy

I ran through the steps on screen with the IPhone off but it didnt work.

Not sure if I am on 4.2.1. Maybe that is why.

Go to settings > general > about and check version from the list...
