update 6.0.1 recharging issues 3gs

hi just updated from 6.0.0 to 6.0.1 and my phone wont charge on any charging cord, either apple product or cheap product from china, plz help
its like the new update doesn't allow iphone to be charged with any device makes no sense?

yes sure does, comes up with importing photos and itunes opens as well so all good in that department however it wont actually charge the iphone at all, so doesn't matter if in a GPO, car charger, computer charger etc

Huh. Was the update of the iOS OTA or through iTunes. Put the device into DFU and restore using iTunes by pointing it to the 6.0.1 IPSWA

yeah was through the settings tab on the actual device wirelessly through my net, not in itunes at all. plz explain what the pointing it to the 6.0.1 ipswa means?

IPSW. Typo. IPSW is the extension for iOS related programs. NEVER install OTA or over the air through the settings tab. ALWAYS use a DFU restore to ensure everything goes according to plan. You can download the iOS from felixbruns.de or you can download it from the sticky under the jailbreak section

hi i reset and restored the original settings and now itunes is the newest version on my pc, however keeps coming up with charging is not supported with this accessoryany other ideas you may have?

Are you using the stock cables and everything?
